Rez Sig.

For Hard Rezes:
Rebirth in PvE
Rez Chant on a Mesmer
Rez Chant with Glyph of Sac on an Ele
Ressurect if you have to put it on anything else.

This is generally what is used.

Wow. In addition, Unyielding has the added bonus of shielding oyu team from all dp, however this is countered by the fact that if the caster runs out of energy or its removed, everyone dies.
You forgot Unyielding Aura has a -1energy penalty for the person
You forgot Unyiwelding Aura is a elite.
You forgot Unyiewlding Aura is a enchantment and if its removed the person dies.

And I forgot how to spell UA lol.

ua is just like a neco minion- ur not really alive or dead, your just able to move around and attack. Your existence is not guarenteed

Light Of Dwayna: Resurrect all dead party members in the area. They are returned to life with 25% Health and zero Energy

25e, 4second cast, 20 second recharge.

Brilliant fun in Fort Aspenwood Even though I like it... everybody else seems to shun me when I use it >_>

pvp:
- res sig

pve:
- res sig (it's so easy to get a moral boost - thus new res sig - in canthia)
you can even use it mid-battle. there is alway a boss somewhere near.
i hate it when ppl dont res even when they're 2 vs 10 mobs...whatever.

- Rebirth
for a well trained team that can survive 1 bad aggro...
in tyria it's better to have a hard res.

I'm really liking Signet of Return + "We Shall Return" for the Paragon. Depending on how many allies are in the shout area, I can rez somone with about 3/4 health and half of their energy. If someone gets their signet off before me (or if I get interrupted), "We shall Return" gives much more extra energy than any of the other resurrections, which is something rez skills lack.

I think its impossible to judge...

Rebirth is a must imo for FoW/UW teams
Flesh of My Flesh will rez a 55er in duos if you can handle being say N/Rt instead of N/Me
and then other spells have a use in other times.

Personally my most used is Rebirth, since it offers better surviveability for the rez'd member

Resurrection Chant in PvE (100% life rezz, 0 recharge time!), takes long to cast but still better than anything else

Yeah, Signet of Return + "We Shall Return" was an incredibly useful combo for the arenas for me during the preview. But "We Shall Return" with any resurrect is fine for me.

"We Shall Return!" + Fast Cast ~3.5 second Resurrect is probably going to become the hard rez of choice. It's quick, it's easy, your ally comes back with a huge chunk of health and energy, and they're ready for action in no time at all, and you can do it from a distance. (Particularly because only 1 paragon needs to have it to make use of it, spreading the skill slot burden around.)

Yes, its brilliant to resurrect a bunch of people who just died to several enemies (who, by some strange co-incidence, are still standing there) with no energy and barely enough life to run away! Try Vengeance instead next time.

for PvP res sig is the only worthwhile res, in PvE res chant+20/20 wand+offhand is the best combo as it brings ally back with your life and decent mana and thus can be ressed in mid combat... rebirth can come in handy if someone rushes off and dies or something but it drains your energy and blacks you out and your ally comes back with only 25% health and no energy at all...

Dont forget, UA gives NO DEATH PENALTY! Plus the fact that it can be removed and reapplied on a friendly Elementalist, when his energy is low and his exhaustion is high. UA can remove exhaustion on demand....

Neway, my opinion is there is no BEST ress, just different ones in different situations. For defeating Shiro for instance, best ress is a Sig, cos it recharges every time you kill his summons.
On the other hand, Rebirth can be used very succesfully to teleport party members to locations, as used in Dunes Bonus.
On my fastcasting Ressmer, i like to pack normal Resurrect spell, she singlehandedly kept the team alive (well they died and ressed again) during a flood attack in the Eternal Grove mission. I think every party member had died over 20 times, save for my Ressmer, which continuously revived them. The Juggernauts took care of the mobs. ^^
